Yes and yes to those questions. :) I find it cool that he remains so humble, he, of all videogame designers. Especially compared to all those big-mouthed Western developers who are so full of themselves and keep boasting about how utterly fantastic their games are, how much better they are than others and how they are the biggest, baddest and best ever... Miyamoto (and developers at Nintendo in general) are always like "well, we worked really hard on this game, we hope you give it a try and really enjoy it!". I find that one of the greatest things about Miyamoto. :)

Still, to say he isn't the best by far seems to just be in denial, even if you don't like his games personally it's hard to argue with his impact and his success.
