Forums - Nintendo - New 3DS Question

I was wondering since this thread is titled "New 3DS Question" if I could ask a question myself as I'm looking into grabbing one sometime in the next few weeks.

How much would you think a regular 3DS model would sell for at say GAME (UK) or HMV? because I've already got a card reader for the SD card to do the data transfer to PC from the 4gb card but I'm wanting to know how much I could get with my current unit if I were to sell it to one of those stores, I haven't really checked either out in a long time and don't even know if either still accept pre owned units.

I live on the IoM so GAME and HMV are the only stores I'd know (only game stores we have on the island) to both buy a N3DS and possible sell my current model since I want to use the money from my current one to go towards the N3DS, I've gotten over the whole needing to buy a charger dink at this point.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Okay so I'm not really liking what I would have to do when I eventually get my New 3DS. Since I upgraded to a 32 GB SD card, I would also need to buy a 32 GB micro SD card correct? Since I would need to have a micro SD card of equal or greater value.

That's only if you want to transfer all your games over immediately. Since you're not so interested, and don't own many digital games, you could opt to simply transfer the save data and licenses (if any) to the new system, and then download the game(s) you want as you want them.

In other words, no need to buy a new micoSD card or transfer your current data to a smaller card before moving everything to the new system.
