Seeing the line up of games coming for the Wii U, it'd be safe to say by thing end of the year, whenever Zelda comes out. Until then, the Wii U will be creeping up on the Vita slowly.

In a few months when Splatoon is out. Mario Party 10 and Kirby wont push sales much but Xenoblade will give a nice boost in Japan.

At a minimum Wii U will outsell Vita before E3 starts.

your are right, Splatoon is a very good and funny game and Xenoblade also extrem good. The will give a big push.
