Actually voice chat has been confirmed for this one for long time already, basically since it was announced as WiiU exclusive. It's also is supposed to have pretty robust, in-depth clan support

I have total faith in Itagaki. Him leaving team ninja/tecmo and how subsequent games turned out to be should make it pretty clear that Itagaki was the reason Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 were good (aswell as DoA).

Itagaki has flat-out said that since E3 the graphics have been significantly upgraded and allegedly look "totally different" now.
