Go for it the new 3DS, looks pretty great and Xenoblade is coming out soon! As other mentioned though, you're going to need a charger for the new one.

BUT IF I TRADE IN MY OLD SYSTEM I GET $100 AT GAMESTOP SO IF IT'S NOT WORTH $200 IS IT WORTH HALF?!?!?!!!?!!

This moral dilemna is weighing heavily on my soul!

Even $100, at least for me, it's not worth it. The c-stick is the biggest issue for me. It's literally a huge downgrade compared to the CCP. It just doesn't compare. MM3D, Ironfall, MH4U, Codename STEAM, and every old 3DS game with camera controls work better on the older systems with a CCP. I just can't get past that. That's a functional downgrade that significantly effects gameplay.

The 3D improvement is purely aesthetic and, while nice, usually lowers the framerate on games anyway, so I'll play some of those games with it off regardless. I'm not playing Ironfall with the 3D on, for example, because it only runs at 60fps with the 3D off. No matter how good it looks, gameplay matters more.

If you don't have the CCP, I say just buy that for $20 and call it a day. Better second analog stick, more urganomic, better triggers and bumpers, $80 cheaper, you don't have to buy a new memory card, you don't have to do a system transfer, and you can still play 99% of the same games with it. I personally don't think it's worth the upgrade.

If you want it that bad, go for it.

While you're at it, definetely get Xenoblade.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Well JOKES on me! Apparently when you live in a big city you have to pre-order everything. SOLD ... OUT.. everywhere. Dummy, i knew that would happen and still did nothing about it

On the bright side while I was furiously looking for an alternative spot to shop on my Samsung Galaxy S5 - a Samsung rep on the street stopped me and offered me free food cart lunch. It was delicious! greek chicken pita with fries and red bull. So there's that....

run away!
