Verdict:

Mario Tennis is a rather fun game. The tournament mode is very fun and do offer some replay value. But there is only 8 cups. They will take you some time since you play 3 matches each with the amount of games and difficulty rising each time. The game also has online play that also adds a good amount of replay value. But other than that, the game offers nothing else that is compelling to play or fun. The 4 special modes where boring and there was nothing other than these. The game offered no type of story mode. The games hitting mechanics were also awful; mainly to do with the power shots. You have no control over them, the CPU decides when you hit the ball, which takes all challenge out of the game and makes it unenjoyable at times. I would not recommend anyone to buy this game.
