Per the ITWorld Article:
Unofficial app brings Playstation 4 Remote Play access to a variety of Android devices
Once connected you see the screen of your PS4 with virtual on-screen controls. If you hold the device in portrait mode you'll see a view of the screen at the top and virtual controls below. In landscape mode the virtual controls are on top of your view of the game you're playing.
There are ways to pair a DualShock 4 controller with your Android device, including a convoluted system that uses two different PSN accounts. Rather than try to describe it I'll just leave this video for you. Towards the end it talks about pairing a controller. There are also apps that support pairing a DualShock 4 with your device, but they require your device to be rooted.
Anyway if you want to give this a try, you can grab the Unofficial Remote Play App from the XDA Developers forum. I downloaded the .apk file on my desktop, copied it to my Dropbox account, then opened the Dropbox app on my Android device and installed the .apk file from there. (You will have to enable sideloading apps, of course.)
We'll see what Sony thinks of all this. Hopefully they'll choose to ignore it rather than trying to issue a cease and desist or worse, start issuing patches in an attempt to break it. Time will tell, I suppose.
It is near the end of the end....
