Since consoles are visible they are part of furnishings and sometimes adjustments to them help one's decor. I'm happy with my discreet Wii U on a shelf but something like an Xbox looks more out-of-place. You're right about that MVS... it shouldn't even be on a shelf in its original form.

check out my desk mod for diablo 3

I gamed on that for like 2 months before my gf made me take it down. Modding is awesome. I wish I could mod consoles. I would mod everything.
