cod (even without bundles) and minecraft never sold one single month more on ps4 

gtaV sold one month more on ps4, but 2 less (but should be ahead if we include the ~350k bundle copies)
madden and nba2k15 sold more on ps4 in theire release month, but less in the holiday period (madden both months, nba2k15 one month)

far cry was always ahaed on the ps4

so we don't know wich game sold most toal ltd ;)

 

 

cod and minecraft is 100% xb1
farcry is 100% ps4
gtaV and nba2k15 are likely ps4
madden likely xb1 (madden is always one of the biggerst seller for christmas in the us with bigger numbers than launch)

Then what does that Vita = 39% 3DS represent? Vita sales = 39% of 3DS sales?

Just hoping now for decent Vita news, even if I never turn the damn thing on. Probably been months since i've used it.

Presumably that Vita sales were 39% of 3DS sales.  Notice that it is listed seperately from the first line of information.

Moving the posts at its finest. as long as we have no numbers we have no idea by how much the xb1 is selling software better. The NPD doesn't even account for the fact that a more ppl may just be buying more software digitally on the ps4. point us, we can't know for certain. 

what we do know for certain is the hardware. and the ps4 won. common sense would suggest that the ps4 should be down yoy  and the xb1 up yoy  being that one is over 35% cheaper this year and the other is still at the same price. 


PS4 sold more software globally anyway so NPD software is irrelevant.

If Wii U=63k, that means:

  • PS4 ~190k
  • XBOne ~150k
  • Purple ~39k
  • Light Blue ~35k

Xbox One's aren't negative PS4s. It's not a success for MS, its a failure for Sony. Not to mention if they both sold worse Januaries, its bad for the entire industry.

The only thing that could be construed as an "objective" success is the top software spot for MS.

yes, but we already know, that the xb1 at least sold more better this january compared to last year
just the value is down, because of the new pricepoint
