What's funny for the "spin people" up there, is that when you exclude Wii Sports, Wii Play, or Crossbow Training, it doesn't change ANYTHING to the fact 3rd parties sold 875,780 on Wii, which is near as much as Nintendo's 1st party games...

Maybe because 875,780 for Wii 3rd parties is ALSO, more than the total PS3 software sales... but fanboys are very selective these days, they elude all the facts which don't serve their ridiculous bias...

I thought that was already excluded?  Isn't the general rule that Wii first party games, Wii collaboration games, casual games, and third party games that aren't big exclusives to PS3 or 360 are excluded?  Right?  So the only software number that matters for Wii is 0.   :) 

Wow, Nintendo DOES sell third party, I thought we knew this? Wasn't the argument that the 3rd party games suck, for the most part? I'm not saying they all suck, but I thought the argument was understood. This isn't a surprising trend at all.........

The original argument was that third parties don't sell on Wii (peopleare still clinging to this, but not many). Now that it's become apparant that they were wrong and can't exactly use that argument anymore without being proven wrong by hard numbers, the argument has since changed to 3rd party games sell on Wii, but they all suck. This is also interchangeable or paired with 3rd party million sellers are anamolies (RE4 port/proven franchise, Red Steel launch game, Mario & Sonic not 3rd party because of Mario, etc.)

Since when did an advantage become a disadvantage? The Wii has the advantage of a bigger install base, and obviously there are benefits resulting from that.
