That's why gamers love Zelda games, they excel in all aspects of gaming...Not just one.

OT: I don't care if it's the best Zelda or not... Just DON'T MAKE MOTION CONTROLS MANDATORY...! :-p

I totally agree here, as long as I don't have to swing a Wiimote to swing my sword we are good. I really loved the motion controls in Wind Waker HD tho. Being able to swipe my gamepad to toss a boomerang or aim my bow or hookshot was really neat and honestly felt better than traditional controls.

Zelda wii u will be the best Zelda game ever made

That would be pretty incredible. My favorite Zelda game is A Link to the Past. Ocarina of Time couldn't top my fav, I highly doubt the next Zelda game will but here is hoping just for a mind blowing experience that would be for me. I hope it has more going for it than just being an open world. There is obvious potential.

Will never be as good as the Ocarina of Time (even if it is).

I have to say, this is the case. Zelda OoT moved the games market forward with a 3D (small) open world. Sadly, that kind of innovation can't be repeated unless the technology performs a similar innovation, wich can probably only be achieved when we move to true virtual reality (not screens in your face).

It can be a really good and memorable game though. Its just that OoT has that unsurpassable advantage.

OOT is best game (note just Zelda game) ever for me, second on the list of best Zelda games is WW HD.

I expect that Zelda U will be at least somewhere between OOT and WW HD.

Imo, each game takes a familiar blueprint and adds to it amking each a little better than the last. So yes, I think itll be the best yet but I dont know if itll b my favorite. Hopefully tho

Wind Waker is the best 3D Zelda, Link to the Past is the best 2D.

...

ALBW is better than ALttP, but all in all, I like the way you think.

And neither of those are the best, Link's Awakening DX is =D

Yes. You know what it's all about .

Zelda U is going to be awesome by the looks of it, but Link's Awakening is one of the two games I don't see it beat. Underrated game sadly.

It has the potential. Twilight Princess in my opinion was the best, which I know I'll get a lot of hate from that. But I just loved it so much. Let us hope this one is better! I mean, Zelda has always been good.

You shouldn't. Zelda has a wide range of perspectives, from heavily focused on exploration games (TWW) to ones on dungeons (TP) or even on puzzles (SS). Some fixes some problems but generate another ones.

For example TWW was big and open, unlike the compact world of MM, but it was easier. TP had more and better dungeons than TWW, but there was zero motivation to use ruppees as the game was still easy. SS on the other hand fixed that, but game was splitted into 3 areas, etc.

I guess this game will be more like TWW, a big game to explore.

I, like many, have said OoT is the best because at its time, and even today, is the more balanced one. But that's Zelda, each one for different tastes.
