I wonder how much it would cost for Sony to but Ready at Dawn.

Thats not necessary at all.  If you don't like the game or company, cool. I'm not sure why you'd go out of your way to come in here though and make statements like that

OT: RAD would make a great addition to Sonys 1st Party lineup imo.  This is a brand new IP and the first major console game they've gotten to develop, and i'm impressed with the quality of what's been shown

I find that highly unlikely. They would've bought them by now if they wanted them.

they've been working almost exclusively for Sony for nearly 10 years. I'm assuming they have a pretty good relationship with Sony, particularly due to how long they've collaborated with SSM.

Only reason for an acquisition would be if they were planning on going somewhere else and Sony wanted to keep them on board through means they couldn't do with second-party relations. They didn't do that with Insomniac; why would they do it here.

Add in the fact that Sony shut a host of studios not long ago (Zipper Interactive; BigBig; Studio Liverpool), and I just don't seem them acquiring anyone else. They seem a lot more about second-party agreements for exclusivity these days which, in my opinion, is a much better direction.

I'm dumbfounded about how you came to the conclusion. It's perfectly viable concern and I'm not the only oen thats expressed it. None of us know how good or how bad this game will be.  So if Sony buys them and the game does terrible, then obviously that's not good for them. But if the game does well then obviously it wouldve been a good choice

its pretty straight forward

Dumbfounded? Your lack of punctuation and proper sentence structure had me mislead.

I interpreted it as - I hope they don't buy this company, and I hope that the game turns out bad.

I expect an apology for jumping to the conclusion you did.  You were out of line imo

You were warned for the post, so obviously, his thoughts were shared by certain staff. If it really means that much to you, have him PM you an apology.

Staff just jumped the gun wrongfully, basically
