I think like Final Fantasy, DQ will break out and become multiplat this gen.

PS3/PS4 + Nintendo Fusion (home/portable).

If the Fusion launches in 2016, by 2017 it will already have a larger userbase than the Wii U in Japan easily and perhaps even overtake the PS4 for no.1.

3DS sold what? Like 5 million its first year in Japan? Not out of the question to expect similar numbers out of Fusion IMO, it will be the no.1 platform in Japan quite likely by the time DQXI comes out.

The only non-turnbased DQ was X, and that is because it is an MMORPG. I think it's a safe bet that XI, if a single player focused game, will be turn-based.

If they are gonna release their megaconsole next year it sounds like they are going as sony route and ending wii u's cycle strong
