First, if you were to bother to make a list of movie/tv shows that came before their video game counterparts, you might think differently.  It's a lot harder to come up with a list of good games associated with a movie/tv show.  Most of them are shovelware.  Even some of the best games (Lego) are really not that good.  The Lego games were good for the first one or two, but they became just a re-skinned version of the same thing over and over.

Batman Arkham might be one of the few that were actually a decent game.

But, like all of these comments, it's just my opinion.

Huh weird, with a big game like that you'd think one publisher would want all the money coming in.  Unless they don't have the money to publish it in NA and Europe.

Warner acquired Midway, which included the Mortal Kombat IP. Midway was renamed NetherRealm Studios after being merged with WB Chicago and they are an internal studio of WBIE now.

They own MK, but are just distribution partners for Witcher 3 and only in America, the rest of the world is NamcoBandai i belive. The IP still belongs to CD Project.

TBD. If they come through on Condemned 3, they are the best. If not, they are the worst.

That's because they are just distribution partners, not full publishers. The IP belongs to CD project and as far as i know they funded it themselfs. They just need someone to print the discs and put them on the shelves.

Shadow of Mordor is awesome. I hope WB do more games based on Tolkien books.

Good chance they can, they operate on margins far better then most of the gaming industry.
