I've disabled the quote tree cutting function until I can figure out a way to make it work better. It was causing weird bugs when quoting multi-quotes and also it was adding unwanted new lines everywhere.

You know it already but for everyone's benefit, the bug has been fixed. I used to loop through all the responses to send notifications but if you were there multiple times in the wall thread you'd get a notification each time, now it's only once per user.

NinteDomination has weird redirecting issues..

Again, I use 10 PPD but it's really weird.

Normally, each page has 10 posts per page (which is still the case) but the pages do not match up the post count

Right now, the thread has 10069 posts... meaning that it should be on page 1007, which it does indeed show on 'My Topics'

However, when I click inside the thread, it theoretically redirects me to post number #10 (as there should be 9 posts on that page, and it links you to the next post (not existant yet, hence the other bug)... but in this case, post #10069 is actually NOT on page 1007, but is actually on page 1008.

This means that it links us to page 1007#10 for post #10069 (Which is normal..)
...but NintenDomination has the post on the wrong page (Post Number #10069 is actually on page 1008#1)

This is really annoying, and I don't really want to switch to 25 or 50 Posts Per Page :/

So in Summary : NintenDomination Posts are off by 2 posts, so by clicking the title, we are redirected to posts that are 2 before the current post... meaning that post number #9 and 10 will redirect us to one page before the current one

The thread got 10k posts, we have a new year and a problem that is hard to fix. Hard to fix because the ghost posts have been issue that was brought up like nine months ago. The COMG thread has even more ghost posts.

Simple solution: Set up a new thread. Copy-pasting the content of the first few posts over to a new thread shouldn't be much work.

Didn't get the notification for this :/

Not really familiar with Ghost posts though... care to explain?

Changed to quote tree killer and I think it works better now. I still have to wait a while to see if it's performing as intended since it only works on posts/quotes made after I made the change.

What kind of CPU and internet bandwidth do you need to run VGChartz at a decent speed? Maybe it's OK with an i7 but with a low end laptop combined with a slow Internet everything is way too slow here. It's just a forum it should be snappy like the others forums I use.

Is it too much javascript with badly written event listeners? It's often a real chore to navigate, display posts, search posts, or edit posts in this forum.

Also I again just lost all the text I was typing after a crash caused I think by the flash banner that previously crashed.

Without the ads it runs pretty smoothly. Sadly, some of the ads on here can really gobble up ressources.
