It's good. But it feels like something you already played. Not a typical new IP.

I like the night element. It's different than most zombie games. The mechanics actually change radically and it becomes more of a stealth game.

its not really a new ip though as its essenrially dead island 2 according to rhe developers. 

I want to play it but physical release is a month of for us

it is but its being made by another developer. dying light is the game that was being made by the dead islands developers as the sequel but the publisher wanted certain things in the game that techland didnt. so the publisher found another developer, gave them the dead island ip, then told them what they wanted in dead island 2.

Its really fun. Good gameplay, better story than Dead Island, and its pretty. Its not perfect but if you enjoyed Dead Island its a solid buy. Anyone want to play coop?

I hope one day someone makes a sandbox zombie game where you just go out into the world with a few people either exploring or gathering resources to improve your home base, maybe engage in a little diplomacy with other settlements etc... Kinda like that Arma mod but a bit more Elder Scrolls and on a console.

Just seems like it would be fun... This one seems alright though.
