Forums - Gaming - Gunsport devs talk about their game - XB1 owners upset it wasn't free; PS4 owners upset it wasn't showing off console's power

Yeah, it's impossible to deny, there are a LOT of really stupid, crappy people who play video-games. It's such idiotic logic, the idea that lower tier digital games are somehow taking away from top tier AAA releases. I see that a lot and it's just mind-numbing. Someone will post about an digital game coming out and down in the comments will be replies like, "OMG not another indie, they're ruining the PS4." If it were me, I'd ban those people from commenting for life, simply for being irredeemably stupid.

Still, good to see that they're learning some things from this. That's how business goes, there are always things to learn when something doesn't go perfectly. If you can survive, then you can make changes next time.

Finally, of course, many small budget games have done very well, even with a lot of negative comments. That advice they were given is spot on. Sometimes that vocal majority of AAA-only jackasses that trash anything without a massive budget doesn't really mean a lot in the end.

They are. This guy is making 4-bit games like he just stepped out of a time machine from 1978 when he could be remaking Final Fantasy VII.

I had not thought of it that way.  You win this round, gnome-san.

You know, though, when the Gunsport devs do get around to working on the FF7 remake, I hope it turns out to be F2P.  That would be glorious.
