Looks to be a developing storm.. in march.. has that ever happened before? So early? Evidence of Global warming?(lol j/k Global warming causes wind shear).

It's snowing across Texas, and there are storms in the Atlantic? Oh the insanity!
Thanks for the info.

Joel, is that currently occuring at this time? Never heard about a tropical storm occuring right now.

i dont think thats a tropical storm...
its too far north to develop into anything tropical,
its just a area of low pressure, spinning, because it got caught up between some frontal boundaries.
things that look like that occur on the west coast of the u.s. a lot during this time of year.
EDIT: accidentally hit post, so i might as well.
Yes, tropical storms can happen at any time of the year, and i think the earliest in the year ever was in February. However, they are extremely uncommon around this time.

I wonder if that somehow has anything to do with how loud the waves crashing outside is. I live like a mile away from the beach and I can hear the ocean roaring and crashing from indoors. And theres no storms and no wind its got me kind of confused.

When hurricane Vince formed near England that was too far north, also I believe its a sub tropical low. I just read the discussion and it seems its a cyclone with a 1005mb pressure, and its trying to gain sub tropical characteristics, it was a cold front, now its a normal low in the middle of the ocean.
Looks stronger today than yesterday. Dont be suprised if we have Arthur soon.
