So yes , it will be Xenoblade with Monster Hunter aspect, definitely will take a lot of time to finish. But i interested solely on the mecha aspect and the exploration aspect.

Unless somebody is glued to the tv, this game will be playable weeks after weeks! Im stillhoping on Online Multiplayer, tht would only increase the time spent initially 10 fold :)

Woahhhh WTF???
Checkthis out O.o
At the beginning of the story, the goal is to survive the uncivilized planet of Mira. After meeting up with private military organization Blade, you’ll choose from one of eight affiliated unions, each with their own overarching objective to fill, and embark on quests. It’s possible to join a different union later. Unlike the linear progression of the original Xenoblade Chronicles, the successor’s story will unfold in various directions.
Unions
The eight unions are:
Pathfinder - In charge of data probe installation.
Interceptor - In charge of exterminating protists.
Avalanche - In charge of hunting down dangerous life forms.
Testament - In charge of the search and recovery of debris scattered by the ship, as well as the recovery of items lost on the battlefield.
Corepedian - In charge of visiting areas and investigation/collecting materials.
Land Bank - In charge of securing resources and collecting minerals.
Arms - Assists the Arms Company in charge of the development of Dolls and their inner weaponry.
Companion - A Jack of all trades, from the mediation of petty fights to the search of stray cats.
GamePad
-Will show character location, question locations
-Warping to previously visited areas
Online
-The use of 'X [Cross]' has implications for the online functionality.
-Not a standard online game, more 'loosely connected'
Music
-About 90 songs in the game. Sawano involved in all of them.
Battles
-Faster paced, more-actiony than Xenobalde.
-Differentiates close and distant attacks.
-No healers.
-Healing done with new system called 'Soul Voice'.

Wow! This is definitely a Role-playing game, which I honestly don't consider most JRPGs to be. Awesome. Hope the unions are fleshed out very well. :)

as i expected it's more of Monster hunter with Xenoblade universe combine, but with science fiction mecha aspect. With this they will be more focusing on several different mission. That's why it will take a lot of time if we want to finish all mission.

Which is pretty much what I suspected when it said it wasn't as "linear" as Xenoblade.

I will probably be glued to the TV lol I'm one of those gamers that doesn't like to play multiple games at a time, I must finish one before moving to the next. I've been waiting for another story game for my Wii U since Bayonetta 2 and this will be perfect. If they added online multiplayer i'll be on a binge playing this game for months straight lol
