It's possible. But once again its down to Nintendo. Are they going to screw up their release schedule once again? are they going to create droughts once again? are they going to delay games once again? are they going to price drop? are they going to make bundles? are they actually going to ADVERTISE?

I still think this year will be WiiU's best year and might actually break 5 million mark. It all depends on how well they can do during March to July months. I would of like Nintendo to announce a price drop but that can wait till March.

I dont think its impossible, just a matter of by how much

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It's very possible, if Nintendo has a price drop.

Bets:

1. If the Wii U sells closer to 10 million LTD by 1/3/2015 I win. If it sells closer to 9.5 million LTD by 1/3/2015 OfficerRaichu15 wins (winner gets 2 weeks of avatar control)--Lost.

I'm confused as to how 18 people feel that it is IMPOSSIBLE? Heck it's not even impossible for the ouya to outsell the ps4 in 2015.

Well on 2014 is up a 30% on US and more than 50% up on Europe YoY, and with Zelda, Xenoblade, Star Fox and Splatoon this year + price cut... I think is impossible for WiiU to sell less on 2015.

I strongly believe this year will be the pea year, so no.

"Impossible" is a strong term ...

"Unlikely" is what your looking for ...

It's not impossible at all. In fact, it could be quite easy. It would just take either a price cut or heavy marketing. Preferably, both.

Not impossible.

It's doubtful Amiibo has already really hit it's full swing. MK8 and Smash are still legging well. There's supposedly more games in 2015 than 2014. A price cut is probably likely. Old Wii support may probably end -- shifting at least some customers from Wii to WiiU.

There's all kinds of good reasons for WiiU sell better in 2015 than 2014. To be honest, the bar is set kind of low. Q1 & Q2 last year were not good because of the absence of MK8 and other big franchises.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
