Forums - Nintendo - So I have 425 points with the Digital Deluxe Promotion...

If only I went to the site sooner I woulda seen how close I was to another $5 eShop credit, then have simply bought an $8 game that I was planning on getting eventually anyway, but alas, procrastination too strong! Is there really no way to get 75 more points?

That's nothing. I went on a bit of a spending spree on the last day, and thought I'd bought enough to get one more batch of credit. But I'd forgotten to account for tax (in Australia, sales tax is generally included in the price of a product, but the DDP points work off pre-tax price)... and come January 1st, when it updated, I found I had 499 points. Yep, 499 points. And to make matters even more frustrating, it would have been 500 points on the dot if the final purchases all counted as a single purchase. Rounding down on each product lost me one point!

You can try whoring yourself out to a person that has a spare 75 points

People used this program?? I thought it was cool at first until Nintendo decided not to have a decent fucking VC on WiiU -_-

10% for each purchase. It was really great, especially for those that went fully digital.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

This isn't a contest, but yeah that sucks aswell! I don't get why we had to reach 500 points before we got any eShop credit. Shoulda just been each point = one cent.

It's a free bonus, so no reason not use it.

Sure there is, 10% (well its actually less in Aus when I checked at launch) or I could just save even more by buying the physical and not have to deal with stupidly long downloads.
