Sonic Boom receives a hefty 1GB patch for bug fixes

While it seems to be available in Europe only at the moment, Sonic fans are reportingreceiving a hefty update to Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric on the Wii U. There are currently no patch notes and very few details about what has been fixed in the game, but some gamers are reporting that the Knuckles glitch that makes it possible to infinite jump while using the character has been fixed.

We’ll keep an eye on this for any patch notes, but given the relatively buggy state of the game at release it’s not surprising to see the developers have a large patch ready for the game. If you have the game, have you received a downloadable update for it yet?

How many Gigabytes do you think the game needs to be playable? For me, ∞.

Its still unofficial patch. 1 GB is a very big number for 8GB Wii U owners. Do they patches install in the internal memory?

Probably. I think there is a setting for patches to install to external though. And it's unofficial? Really?

I read this new quite a long ago and they were citing it as unofficial patch.
