No button prompts, so I keep clicking items like crazy. Everything you want to do yo have to confirm ten times. So, I haven't played this yet, but the old tank controls were used specifically because of the crazy camera angles. No matter what the angle change was, pressing Up meant you were still moving forward. It takes some getting used to - think of the shift it was for gamers back in the day, when games were typically 2D, FPS, or top-down perspective, suddenly we're in a 3D space with a camera caring more for spooky angles than clarity.
Not sure what you mean by button prompts, but if it sparkles, you can pick it up. If it looks interesting, give it a click for at least a quick text description. The skimpy inventory is what put the survival in this horror. You basically want to conserve on ammunition, difficult to do when you're stuck in such small quarters with zombies, and having to repeatedly run back to the save room to drop off items due to bad or newbie item management means negotiating these tight quarters way more than necessary. It also means you can't be loaded down with healing items and all your weapons when a boss pops up!
Looking forward to Dying Light myself - dunno why it's so interesting to me where I completely skipped out on almost every zombie game last gen.
