If you can find it, Battalion Wars II

If you like exploration maybe look into Endless Ocean 1&2.

Also, maybe it's just my taste, but I am gonna have to downvote on MadWorld, definately my least favourite Wii game I played... It looks great, and it was neat trying out the different styles of kills the first few times, but I thought it got boring about half-way through (which is about 2 hours in). I am not the biggest fan of beat-em-up or hack'n'slash type games though, so perhaps I am not the best judge. (No More Heroes I liked though, and thought it got better and better as the game went on)

Amen to this.  It was lauded for its mature style and visual aesthetic.  5 minutes into the game I knew I had the most linear bore-gore fest of the generation in my Wii.  Popped it out and never looked back.  Definite example of style vs substance.

I did actually complete it, but then I am a bit of a completionist so unless a game gets frustratingly hard it's extremely rare I don't finish the main story.

Was the only disc based game on Wii that I didn't spend at least 10 hours on though.

Gameplay wise you can't go wrong.  The story is terrible, though.  But you can usually pick up the title pretty cheaply.  I'd also like to add to your growing list of titles, Elebits.  Sometimes the motion controls are a bit wonky...but in general there is a ton of content and a really cool premise.  Oh yeah...the story is even worse than other M...but more forgivable since it isn't freaking Metroid.  btw...I'm sure in your title you meant "a" Wii.

Have played Elebits, quite a funny game...

on the "a"... isn't Wii reading as if it was an voguel and thus needs an ''an" instead of an "a"??? My english is rubbish so I may be confounding things.

No...it's a consonant.  You're definitely not the only one to make a mistake like this (I'm looking at you MyNintendoNews). Interestingly enough...if you pronounce it like you have it written it is another word...ennui (more or less).  I'll ask you this....would you eat a watermelon...or an watermelon?  It's the same sound.

Well I know W is a consoant, is more for the sound... I read Wii as "Uí" (like french people speak uí), and I probably would say uatermelon.

Does it have backward compatibility? You should get F-Zero GX and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door. Soul Caliber 2 was pretty good as well and had Link as a playable character.

I have a Gamecube =p

I'm also watching the price of the following games and waiting the right time to buy:

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

Xenoblade

Metroid Prime Trilogy

These games will almost certainly not be dropping in price. But they will probably be sold digitally for $20 on Wii U and future Nintendo consoles, so you could wait till then.

With they releasing on WiiU there is a chance that price will drop a little and I'll hit the pawn shops for them.

Mad World, No More Heroes 1 and 2, The Last Story, Pandora's Box, Sonic Colours, NSMBWii...

NSB is already bought.

No More Heroes 1, 2 are being considered.

Please give some details about Mad World, The Last Story and Pandora's Box that make you look up to them.

Will look at Sonic Colours, it is closer to original sonics, generations or the less pleasing Sonics?

Mad world is probably one of the best uses of motion controls in an adult game for the wii imo, you'll break a sweat too and get some good exercise as you repeatedly smash guys faces into "rosebushes" on the walls. Not sure about in Brazil but that game goes for about 3-5euros used here at retail in Ireland, should be a bargain price if you shop around.

Won't buy anything here in Brazil... and unfortunately Wii is region locked so no euro imports for me =[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[

Highlights from Battalion Wars and Endless Ocean (heard good about ocean)

Uhnnn I'm into both genres, so maybe I'll like it =]

It is like ui in french...but this is english and the rule is based off english.  It isn't a vowel sound that would use that article.  Examples that would are igloo, ice box, alphabet, elephant, etc.  Let me give you another example...unicycle.  That is pronounced yoonicycle, even though it starts with a vowel. The yoo sound is not preceded by "an" but rather "a". This really isn't up for debate or based upon a region.  It is "a" wii.  It's never "an" wii.  I'm not trying to be insulting or condescending...at all.  Just trying to help.

Why not just get a Wii U and have all those Wii games plus the new Wii U titles? :/

Anyways, nice collection so far.

Because I'm waiting for the console to go around 200,00 to buy it. And won't buy the digital re-releases anyway.

You mean to import it!:P

Not exactly import... either have my coleague in USA bring it, my brother in Canada or myself when I go to USA... but either way I'll buy it around 200,00... and the games will buy only retail copies...

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
