Forums - Gaming - Software quality 2015. Who will win? Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft?

Sony and Nintendo. But for me Uncharted4 will own everything.

Quality Nintendo first arguably.

Second place will be a tough one, Sony seems to have more exclusives to make it Shine, but let's see how than fare against Scalebound, Halo, Tomb Raider and cia.

Oh yes, scalebpuns by the oh so fun platinum games. Along with metal gear.. The only games so far that could concince me to jump on ps/x wagon ;--p along with a possible the last guardian awakening..

I'm usually far more interested in PS exclusives. But The Order and BloodBorn is not appealing to me, while Scalebound seems like my crap to dig, and Halo is the only Sci-Fi shooter I actually do play alongside with Prime.

I don't own a PS4, just a Xbox one, so I will have to accept Lara Croft instead of Drake.

The tom raider series does seem more exotic and daring that drakes.. Aways thought uncharted looked a bit generic with the standard shooting segments and typical cast..  Id much rather play the next tomb raider.

Sony.

They'll have Bloodborne, The Order, Uncharted 4, Rime, Ratchet and Clank reboot, No Man's Sky, Persona 5, Yakuza, (japan), Dragon Quest Heroes (japan), MLB 15 if you care about that, and a bunch more that I can't remember.

Even if some of them end up being duds, they'll have more than enough other titles that will be great to make up for it.

Yeah, that was what I was saying they have a lot of content, but they are going against Nintendo's Xenoblade, Monster Hunter 4, Splatoon, Zelda Wii U, Yoshi Wolly Word, Kirby Rainbow, Codename Steam, Majora Mask, Star Fox Wii U, Mario Maker, Fire Emblem.. It's really unfair for others to challange this quality wise.

I would give Sony the props for diversity.

Which publisher will make their fans the most happy? Nintendo. PS / XB gamers put significantly more weight on 3rd party games. As far as 1st party goes, Nintendo fans will be the happiest.

As for me personally, It could go either way. I don't have an XOne or any HH's so it'll be PS4 VS Wii U 1st party offerings. For now it looks like:

Splatoon + Yoshi + X + Zelda VS Bloodborne + Tearaway + Until Dawn + Uncharted

Shall be fun times for both

MonHun isn't Nintendo though.

Yoshi and Kirby, meh...

Oh yeah, Rain reminded me, Sony is also making Tearaway: Unfolded!

Of sorry, I did not know it should be First Party only.

Eitherway, I am not interested in Kirby, but we are talking about quality in the thread, and it will be probably one of the best game in its Genre, that's what Nintendo does, even if it's not appealing to everyone.

I just giving props where it deservers, I could say meh to MLB 15 and Bloodborne, since I rate Yoshi Wolly World way higher than them, but they might end up being great quality games in their genre, for those who plays, and would end up being, quality games.

My opnion is purely based in historical context, Nintendo 90% of times delivers(Software), but it can flop.

Edit: OP, it's exclusives, or you mean every game being released?

nintendo will have the highest quality of games like every year...

I would say this order: 1.Nintendo 2. Microsoft 3. Sony
Nintendo because they have Splatoon, XCX  and Zelda Wii U and generally thier 1st party/2nd party games are all at least good.  3DS has a Zelda remake and a new Fire Emblem. Awakening was amazing  in 2013 and Nintendo is promising it will be bigger.

MS second due to Platinum's Scalebound and MS's Halo 5.

Sony last because Uncharted. Also that The Order doesn't seem as good as when it was first revealed. Bloodborne and maybe other's could be the same but probabbly not. VIta has almost NO support.
