Can you tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps when you play video games?

Yes, I can. 308 80.42%

No, I cannot. 75 19.58%

Total:383

Yes I can but I adjust quickly to 30 even after playing a higher FPS for awhile. I never notice the "stuttering" that occurs when they go with a variable framerate like in Second Son as it just looks slightly smoother than 30 to me. I feel more immersed with better graphics and would rather have them lock at 30 than sacrifice a bunch for 60 since I don't play MP a lot anyway.

No

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Seriously it just feels different, but its hardly noticeable visually (minimal). Unless you're really watching that sword swing left to right, and not paying attention to anything else then yes.

Normal human eyes can distinguish up to 150 fps, and I can clearly tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps

Mario Kart Wii looked and played very shitty in 3-4 player. So yes.

I can't usually notice the difference unless I switch from seeing the same thing in 60 down to 30 - for example, going from 1 or 2 player in MK8 to 4 player. Then, there's an obvious difference but I sort of become unaware of it again after a while.

One is 60fps and the other is 30fps.

Good luck.

Good luck with what? It's 60fps on the left, took me 1/10th of a second.

well then, you're very special.

It seems I'm special too! There are dozens of us! DOZENS!

On topic: I'm pretty sure almost everyone can tell the difference. They just won't admit it because it doesn't fit their agenda.

Yes. Very easily.

Definitely, it's pretty night and day really, it looks and feels much smoother.

If I focus on the graphics long enough eventually I can, but most the time I'm to immerse in the game to even realize, like the Dark Souls post above, if your playing the game good chance your not focusing on the fps but instead on not dieing.
