Well, first of all, it’s important to know that I’ve loved video games since Atari 2600. Yes, that’s how old I am For many years I was a huge fan of Nintendo (NES, SNES, N64) then when the Sony Playstation came out, it was a huge game changer, then I think we all probably had a PS2. In the mid-late 90’s I had also dabbled in PC games and started playing “online” games, modem to modem, like Duke Nukem, Quake, and even the original Diablo. I remember holding off on the original Xbox for several months then finally got one when they announced Xbox Live. Then when Xbox Live was released I got it day one and it was the seismic, epic game-changer so many were waiting for. A broadband, online service, with built-in communication. It was huge. I remember playing Unreal Tournament and Mech Assault online and communicating with friends. It was an incredible feat and a gamble for MS to force broadband when it was in its infancy. If you go back and read about the development, the Xbox team pushed it and Bill Gates wasn’t convinced it was the right thing. Fortunately, it paid off big time. With Xbox Live setting the standard for what online gaming would ultimately become, it was inevitable that Xbox 360 would be my next console. And man, did I spend some hours on that system with so many great memories – Halo 3, COD4, Gears of War, Oblivion, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Fable, Crackdown, the list goes on. I would probably say Xbox 360 has been the golden age of gaming so far for me. And with MS always pushing the limits, thinking into the future, I’m so excited about Xbox One. Having been a gamer for all of these years, the HDMI throughput MS developed into the Xbox One is an absolute next gen game changer for me. The idea that I never have to switch inputs on my TV to go to my game system is insane! In the past you always had to switch to your gaming universe from your television, but now you’re always immersed in that world. It truly is “one” now. And now with Direct X12 coming, MS pioneering cloud computing for gaming, I’m giddy just thinking about the future. Lately, I've been insanely addicted to Destiny (about 400 hours played!), but finally pulled myself away from that to start some Dragon Age. Looking forward to Halo 5, The Division, Crackdown 3, and very intrigued to see what MS is going to do with Phantom Dust!

I love japanese console only I hate american console that it.

I'm mostly a Nintendo fan since I've grown up with them and they have had some great games. I guess a second would be Sony since I had a PS1 and PS2 when I was growing up as well. I admit that Nintendo has some faults and they make some confusing business decisions but when they put out some enjoyable games that I almost always find fun to play through in my opinion.

This is an odd question for me.
Im a Nintendo fan, I grew up with them and they make amazing games... thing is recently Ive had issues with what they are doing and will openly critisize them. So many will probably see me as a hater.
Im not a Sony fan, but they are the ones who will recieve the most praise from me because they are able to get all the 3rd party devs I love (SQEX, Kojima, NIS, Atlus etc.) to develop for them while also owning Polyphony and ND.

This is exactly how i am but im a playstation fan.

Been a Ninteno fan since i was a kid and grew up with there games. One point i had a good balance of being a Nintendo and PS fan during thr ps1/n64 and ps2/GC days. However recently ive been feed up with the big N and find enjoyment on PS consoles

Nintendo. If you were to say all consoles got the third parties, really I would never see a point to get another console other than Nintendo's. You can't really beat their exclusives.

Nintendo would have to vastly improve their online and social aspects of the console, but other than that I agree.

Social aspects, yes. Online? No. It is free and very good for being what it is. I would rather have free online that lagged every now and then rather then pay $20 a month for a "super smooth perfect online"

If only PSN and Live were "Super smooth perfect"...

I have bought all three consoles the last couple generations... I'm not really fixated on any one of them to be honest...

So are you a Nintendo fan, Sony fan or Xbox fan and why?

As can be easily seen by my name and avatar I am a PlayStation fan. This is due to various reasons:

1. The PlayStation 1 was the first console with exclusives which appealed to me both as a child back then and as an awkward peubescent teen of today. From Crash ( especially warped and tag team racing ), Spyro to a slew of amazing third party games ( Toy Story 2 and Spider man (2000 ) the first PlayStation litreraly destroyed the Nes, I had before, and all it's games.

2. All PlayStation console which I have owned have had an exceptional build. From my PS1 which is now 16 years old and still working perfectly to a PS2 controller which didn't break even though it was dropped a gazzilion times a day. All PlayStation products which I have owned have remained in prestine edition.

3. Sony knows what's best! From recruiting numerous devs to produce a slew of amazing games for the PS1 to not falling for the DRM catastrophe in this Generation, Sony has always stocked by the consumer.

ALWAYS, you say...?

But yeah, I'm a PlayStation fan too. Simply because Sony's exclusives appeal more to me (plus they have the third-party support, unlike Nintendo)

While the Price was extremely expensive for the time. You have to remember that the cell processor is actually stronger than the processor found inside the PS4 so for $599 in hindsight the price wasn't to high.

The 60gb model is actually very rare and valuable model now, it has built in ps2 in it.

Even if your one of those multi platform people, I'm sure you'd still have a preference to a specific console or company.
