I think your interpretation of that statement is a bit more negative than mine would be.  Still, thank you for the link/response.

^its just seems that they are going hardcore on ps3 and 360 then turning around and changing...it might just be devs speaking in one then pres speaking in another but its never good in your company if you dont say the same thing

 I think you missed the word too.  In summary he said:

Wii is for hardcore games and all other types of games including family and casual games.

Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 is only hardcore games. 

He said TOO (which means also), he did not say NOT for wii.

I agree with Sega partially. It depends on the type of game that get released. If they can create franchises that gain a fan base like a No More Heroes. Hardcore gamers will attach. However, the fact that the Wii lacks online play hurts them.
