I would really consider a 3DS. I mean you have Fire Emblem, Bravely Default and Bravely Second (when it releases) Pokemon, Shin Megami Tensei IV and so much more.

the ones i bolded are the ones im interested in, (dont like the art style of Bravely Default and i already played 4 pokemon games when i was young and i got bored of the franchise), but games are not whats stopping me from grabing a 3DS (since there are plenty of others like Monster Hunter that i would play) its the fact that its a handheld... i dont like playing with the tiny screen, for me its almost... no it really is uncomfortable.

Thanks to the PSTV i can now finally play a TON of PSP/PSVITA games that i would have never played before, (since i dont like handhelds) and i wish the 3DS got a "PSTV" revision but i know that wont happen, so one day i will just make the "sacrifice" and play those games the only way they can be played.

Only thing from the recent direct that got me genuinely excited. Loved the first one can't wait to play this one! No release date is little disheartening though.It could be a while before it comes out if they didn't even announce a release window.

I'm assuming when you say first you mean the original Fire Emblem? If not, Awakening was not the first of anything besides the first to pass 1+m sales in the series and the 1st on the 3DS. However, the game I already know will release by the end of this year or sometime before the 2nd half of next year. The mechanics and build of the game is the same as Awakening so really they didn't have to build that from scratch.
