The Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL is Sold Out on Gamestop Online, Here Is How to Get it Anyways

As many of us know, Nintendo products are hard to come by nowadays. The Majora’s Mask Limited Edition New 3DS XL sold out within minutes on Gamestop’s website, but I just successfully purchased the handheld in store. You have to be careful, though. Make sure to take these steps to ensure everything is done correctly.

1. Make sure to get down to your local Gamestop location as soon as possible. The allotments for the Limited Edition New 3DS XL are very, very small and will likely be sold out by the end of the day.

2. Ask the Gamestop person to order the handheld online for you. This is NOT an in-store pre-order. If your local Gamestop salesman does not know what you are talking about, ask for a manager/higher-up to assist you. That is what I did, the manager at my local store ordered the handheld for me.

3. You have to pay off the handheld in full right away. There is no $50 deposit as technically this is not a pre-order, but a “pre-release” order. I had to pay about $215 in total.

4. Wait. The package will be delivered for free directly to your address, not in-store. The package may come as late as March 2nd due to slow shipping times.

5. Enjoy and play your brand new Limited Edition New 3DS XL!

If you have any other questions about the process, feel free to leave them below. I will be happy to answer!

what the fuck gamestop i only got around 150 on me and won't have the other 50 until Friday

EB Games in Canada also sold out. At least I don't have to make the decision now as to whether I will needlessly spend money on this just to get the special edition. I can safely wait until I can justify it (ie, whether Xenoblade gets released on the Wii U eshop or not).

I haven't made up my mind yet on which bunduru to buy :/

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

I'm in Canada, so I went on the EB Games site.... sold out.

I'll probably wait until launch, and see if my local Wal-Mart will have it in stock :P
