I'd be more inclined to care if THQ had published a Wii game that didn't totally suck ass so far.

This is what I was going to say, has anoyone seen how crap THQ's Wii games are!?

It's funny because at the shops the other day I was with a mate and I said; "Look at all the junk on the Wii by THQ" and grabed half a dozen shovelware games, then I said, "look at all of Capcoms games on the Wii, all awesome games people love and buy"

Take Capcom for a good example, would they say something like this? No, because their games sell well on the Wii, because they are good games.

So ps3/360 sales will pick up when prices drop? Oh noes! The Wii is doomed!!1!

All consoles will come down in price. Nintendo wont let MS and Sony reduce prices without also reducing there own. Of course the PS3 and 360 will be more popular when they are cheaper but so will the wii.

Its so annoying when people keep saying the ps3 and 360 will drop their price and be more competitive with the wii.

As if nintendo wont drop their prices. As they already make a heap of profit per machine, they can afford to drop their prices way more than the ps3 ans 360 can.

 He's actually saying that, the only reason the Wii is successful as it is now is because of its price, ergo people are buying Wiis because they can't afford PS3s or 360s. He also ignores the fact that the Wii will also drop in price, too, but apparently that doesn't matter.

@MAN^^^ haha you are so right man! Nintendo learned their lesson with the n64 & GC, they're not going down w/o a fight.

And yeah, who cares what THQ says? Who buys their games anyway--most of their games are shovelware that gets bundled with consoles so that companies can get rid of those horrible horrible games haha

famousringo does make a good point. They dont really make AAA games to begin with and most of their games have been on the Wii (for this generation). I mean, aren't we al hyped up for De Blob? anybody????? :/

the wii dropping of price won't matter as much cause it's already such an affordable machine. most people already consider it a cheap system. 360 and especially the ps3 have a long way to go until they reach that mark.

and look at the ps1 and ps2. sold something like 200m consoles combined. it's not like people aren't willing to pick up a sony system.

i do think the wii will continue to do great and sell like mad, but i do expect the other systems (again, especially the ps3) to pick up the pace.
