Should I play GTA SA?

Nope, it's too late, just wait for GTA V 9 32.14%

Absolutely, it's a masterpiece 17 60.71%

LOL 2 7.14%

Total:28

So this is kinda random...

I'm hyped because I'm going to play GTA V for the first time (waiting for the PC version) and I never played San Andreas. Should I play GTA San Andreas first, idk, for nostalgic reasons? or because it's a great game. I know that GTA SA was a masterpiece, but can I play it today and appreciate the game?, I don't care about the dated graphics so I'm ok in that area.

Sure, play it with the "Hot Coffee" mod (nude mod) and ur set

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Go for it. GTA San Andreas is a classic that aged well and still in 2015 has many reasons for replayability. I wouldn't be surprised if you end up liking GTA:SA more than GTA V.

It's kinda hard to play. Graphics not much better than some ps1 games. Radio is quality though. Rockstar will surely give this a remake someday. even if just up to ps3 graphic levels but knowing them they'll probably go the full hog.

It was very cool, but I think GTA5 is even cooler.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

All the PS2 era GTA games have aged really well. I was playing Vice City on my phone the other day and it was still fun. Go for it.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

I would go for it, I completed it last year for the first time and it was really good.

It might have aged well in terms of gameplay but visually it was ugly even on its launch day.

TBH I would wait the 15 days and then play GTA5  if one plays GTA:SA right now one might think "I had enough of that now" after pl and then lose interest in GTA5.

I played smash 3DS for a while and then didnt bother playing Smash WiiU at all unless I had some friends visit me. I didnt care about new modes or stages  I just played to much of the game in a short time.

HA. Wouldn't surprise me neither. Don't know if it's just the tricks of nostalgia but I enjoyed/enjoy GTA SA way more than GTA V.

GTA V's story and characters feel quite shallow imo.. Would help if it had just 1 interesting protagonist with bigger problems than how to get to $100 mill.

I miss the truck driving missions from GTA SA.

OP: Go for it! It's quite a looker on PC.

Thank you, guys! I just bought the game! :D
