That list sucked. How is it that the NES is not number one? They must've been smoking when they came up with that list.

I would bother trying to explain why that list is crap but everyone else has done a fair enough job. But to have XBOX 360 above DS alone is a mistake. DS is the best console this generation (and maybe ever) by far when it comes to games.

Not to include current generation consoles or the PC, here is my top ten:

10) Sega Saturn.
9) Atari 2600.
8) Sony Playstation.
7) Sega Genesis.
6) Game Boy (family not Advance).
5) Game Boy Advance.
4) Nintendo Entertainment System.
3) Sony Playstation 2.
2) Neo Geo AES.
1) Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

I think this is a pretty good list. Some would be shocked at the number two system but it outlasted so many other consoles and to date is the longest supported console in history (last I checked). It also was the first consoles to bring home the true arcade experience and despite the hefty price of console and games, was probably the biggest value, at that time, for the price if you liked SNK/Playmore games.

Bah, give me a break.

Without the Atari 2600 to basically kick off the home console market, and the NES to SAVE the home console market, there would not be any of those other consoles.

And Gameboy is why there is any handheld market to begin with
