No clue what any of that means.
I actually hope the will do Xenoblade 720p with locked 30fps instead of going the Bayonetta route of sometimes 60 with constant wild drops between 30 and 60.

i think that 60fps for an rpg (even a massive one like xenoblade) is more doable at 720p... bayonetta 2 is a 60fps target but that's because of the amount of onscreen chaos, i think, which you're unlikely to ever see in xenoblade. judging from recent trailers, the visuals seem to have taken a hit compared to the cgi stuff from 2013 and i think that's because it's being optimized for 60fps.
all 720p
yoshi, splatoon with AA and 60 fps
zelda and xenoblade 30 fps.
Depends on if the game can run smoothly on 1080p or not.
My predictions:
Yoshi's Woolly World: 1080p 60FPS, no AA
Splatoon: 720p, 60FPS, AA
Xenoblade Chronicles X; 720p, 30FPS, AA
Zelda: 720p, 30FPS, AA

I don't think is been downgraded, if anything stuff like animation has been smoothed over since the reveal. It's more that newer footage uses less flattering unscripted camera angles and more closeups of faces.
