That's why only revenue should matter at this point. And with its $60 price point GTAV made a lot more money than Minecraft's $6-$20. Because might as well consider Angry Birds if you are to consider Minecraft :/

Regardless of whether it's the best selling or not (it's not, that's Minecraft), you can't deny how fucking insane is for a $60, AAA game to sell 41m (!) copies. And counting. Will probably end up over 50m. That's more than most consoles...

Wii Sports doesnt count. It's not a bundled game that people bought a wii to buy, unlike bundles of today. It was with EVERY wii in US/UK. Kudos GTA

So it should be about a billion $ in profit:
40,570,000 (games sold) x $30 (in profit for each game) - $268,000,000 (development and marketing) = $949,100,000
