With 2014 officially over, I thought it'd be nice to compare 8th gen lineups after 2 years on the market to their 7th gen counterparts and see which is better (in your opinion, of course).

Wii:

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Paper Mario, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports, No More Heroes, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Red Steel, Okami, Sin & Punishment, de Blob.

Wii U:

-The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, ZombiU, Lego City: Undercover, New Super Mario Bros. U, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Hyrule Warriors.

AND

DS:

-Mario Kart DS, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, New Super Mario Bros., Elite Beat Agents, Kirby: Canvas Curse, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Sonic Rush, Contra 4, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Super Mario 64 DS.

3DS:

-Fire Emblem: Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Pokemon X/Y, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Resident Evil: Revelations, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Personally, I think the 3DS had a better lineup than DS at this point and the Wii U had a better lineup than the Wii. What do you think?

Wii and 3ds for me! Metroid = Fap, Mario Galaxy = Fap, Zelda = Fap vs No Metroid, Galaxy >>> 3d World, No Zelda

Yeah, there's a lot missing for sure. I just wanted to pick out most of the key titles on every platform.

Wii and DS

Wii and 3DS.

Even though I prefer both the Smash and Kart iterations on the Wii U, Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy are much better than Wind Waker remake/3D World.

3DS has Link Between Worlds and New Leaf, beating everything else on the DS.

Pikmin 3 and Super Mario 3D World are just enough for me to choose Wii U, although you can't deny that Wii's lineup is just more solid and varied. I think though that 3DS games look more fun than those ones of DS. (I don't own a 3DS and I barely bought any game for the other).

I'd go with Wii and 3DS from what you've listed.
