inFAMOUS bundle did not include the game for free, neither did the Destiny bundle, or even TLOU:R bundle when it came out. 

IDK about europe, but as far as US goes we've always had the price of the game added onto the console for every bundle except the Black Friday bundle.

Yes, well that would make sense, since in terms of price for the standalone console the rest of the world is subsidising the US price. So that means there is head room in other countries to bundle games for free, whereas in the USA there isn't .

Well, it was like this. Destiny + PS4 was sold  in a bundle at launch with the retailers I checked for $400. I posted about it here in the "Post your great PS4 deals here" thread I believe. However, they also sold the standalone PS4 for $360 or $370. So if you look at it that way, then it wasn't free. But both the standalone PS4 and the bundles were below the recommended retail price. Oh and that was a Black PS4+Destiny. If you wanted the white one + Destiny, then it cost $450. And only on Amazon.

The conversation was about Sony's official prices, not a bundle some retailer put together...

I'm not sure what Sony's retail prices were in my country at that point though. It could have been lowered to what I mentioned, seeing as that was the trend at the biggest electronics chains. Not just one retailer, but all the biggest ones. I just know it started off at $400 at the beginning of the generation. And while people in the US were constantly finding bundles at $450 in their biggest retailers, I constantly found them at $400 in mine. And by that I mean the equivalent of $400. It's easy to compare, seeing as our games retail at 600kr, while US games retail at $60. And our PS4 launched at 4000kr while it launched at $400 in US. So just subtract a 0.

It was at least $450 at launch in the US; it dropped to $400-420 around the holidays here.

PS4 version will sell at least 5 times the Xone WW.

Well three of us on the forums got it, and some on neogaf got it as well.

I got one and I have purchased one through Amazon, so I assume it was pretty widespread.
