The conversation was about Sony's official prices, not a bundle some retailer put together...

I'm not sure what Sony's retail prices were in my country at that point though. It could have been lowered to what I mentioned, seeing as that was the trend at the biggest electronics chains. Not just one retailer, but all the biggest ones. I just know it started off at $400 at the beginning of the generation. And while people in the US were constantly finding bundles at $450 in their biggest retailers, I constantly found them at $400 in mine. And by that I mean the equivalent of $400. It's easy to compare, seeing as our games retail at 600kr, while US games retail at $60. And our PS4 launched at 4000kr while it launched at $400 in US. So just subtract a 0.

It was at least $450 at launch in the US; it dropped to $400-420 around the holidays here.
