It seems Sony has been very smart.  They didn't fight to keep 1st place in Nov/Dec, but now they are set up to have a higher baseline than last year, and MS the opposite by creating a discount addiction.

i think that suggests a ton of people bought them at the cheapest firesale prices to make a big profit this year. if you bought 1000 of them you could be making a $30,000 profit. 

i wish PS4 took a bit longer to catch up so this thread would have been more active and exciting. gonna be boring with the same few people posting. Where's the diversity man!

Ah well. Back to normal, until MS cuts price permanently. The Sony will cut PS4 price some time this year and things will be back to normal.

well yeah but i mean when they are both on even terms. it would be cool if they were close when they are sold for the same price. but it ain't gonna happen if the ps4 keeps charting like that.
