You never know. Nintendo have made plenty of poor decisions in the past, maybe this could be just another one to add to the list =P

I don't know but they should have gone all out MS style. A $250 bundle with SM3DW, MK8, and an extra pro controller.

Neh, slimmer gamepad to shut all the whiny "oh its too bulky QQ" people with a nice pricecut and increased battery life might do good with the launch of Zelda in 2015

Yeah these guys 99% of the time are never going to buy the system regardless, I mean most games play just as well with the pro controller anyway. Better battery is easily obtainable if they wanted it, they even sell an official larger battery that fits perfectly into the gamepad.

They never removed the Wii remote speaker when they updated the Wii remote plus.

Not 100%, most times they put items on sales or in bundles if the vendor agrees to give kickback (the differnce in the sale) in attempt to ship more units.
