Honestly, there should have been both.

If were just disregarding profits lets just sell it for $0 with Smash, Kart, and Zelda included.  I'm smarter than Nintendo.

The problem with the bundle is that it wouldn't appeal to people that do not care for nintendo games. It would give a temporary spark in sales. No doubt about that. But afterrwards it would quickly go back to selling how it usually does.

I've got an idea for a bundle that'll REALLY push sales. For $15, you get a deluxe Wii U but with a 3TB hard drive built-in. It also comes with 4 Pro controllers, five Amiibos of your choice, Smash, MK8, Bayonetta 2, and a download code for Shovel Knight. It also includes a special promotion where you can get a retail version of Zelda U and Xenoblade Chronicles X for free on release. If you use the promotion, you can also get a New 3DS with every game that has a Metascore of 85+ for the system installed to it. Each of those games will also count towards Club Nintendo coins, and for 750 coins, you can get a Bowser-flavored tub of Ice Cream.
