It will sound so good that people will think its a scam so no one would actually buy it

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Doubt they will give out Zelda U for free. A bundle with Smash and Mario Kart 8 would be nice, but it wouldn't be a dig deal if it didn't happen.

Probably.

Current Consoles: PS3, PS4, Wii U

PC Specs: i7-4770, GTX 560 Ti, 12GB 1600Mhz DDR3

A bundle that included Smash and Mario Kart (Digital) for 250$ would definitely help, MK and smash being digital to keep profits up

Perhaps the free game helped Mario Kart 8 to push more Wii U units than Smash did, or better yet, there wasn't any Smash bundle.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

You can't put all of your system sellers in one bundle. You're talking about the three games that will sell more than anything else. Give them to your customer right off the bat and a lot of them won't pick up another game after that.

I'm all for getting hardware into homes at a loss and making it up by selling software, but doing what you're suggesting would only hurt Nintendo. There just aren't a lot of titles on the system that appeal to a wide audience, so they need to be strategic with each of them.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

Mario Kart 8 and Smash U bundle next year for $299 or you can get a deluxe Wii U alone for $249 at holidays
