Of course you are.  You are saying that the because the other consoles aren't doing as well, the PS4's success is irrelevant.  That is the context of what you are saying.  Why else would you say that the PS4 needs to sell 160 million?  Its okay.  PS4 is at least the sencond fastest selling console, it will surpass 50% and its success will not be a function of your bias lol.


Sony confirmed it to be the fastest selling console in history back at the PS event.

Xbox really needs to figure something out with Japan or instead work really hard on Europe, they still have many areas they can improve.

something in my head say me that microsoft will reduce the price of xbox one to $299 :p
maybe when the order 1886 is out or bloodborne.

Lol, they can't just keep cutting it.

The price will go back to $400 in january and then it depends on how the system does, if it fails to live up to MS expectations then it could go back down to $350 quite fast. It'll probably be $300 during the holidays though.

it was 330$ this holiday with two free games. it will certainly go down to 300 next holiday. possibily 270-250 on black friday as well.

Yeah, the difference next holiday will be that the PS4 could very well go down to $300 as well, so the next holiday season should be more interesting in that regard.

add to that the possibility of both consoles releasing slim versions its very possible that PS4 would be 300$ on black friday.

No chance on earth.   MS is here to make money, not to lose money. 

It cost $20 more to produce a Kinect-less X1 than a PS4.   $401 VS $381.   Or you won't see another XBox next gen...
