For indie games in 1080p. ;)

exclusives, loyalty, because I'm awesome and everyone was buying it

And they showed Tomb Raider at 1080p/60fps. In my mind, I imagined an image so clear that Lara would come out of the TV and touch my weiner. Imagine my disappointment. Don't regret it at all but....hype.

I'm playing Tomb Raider Reborn right now, looks so sexy !

Because its the best next-gen console.

Simple: Look at the pros and cons.

Nintendo will reliably have some of the best games this generation with Zela, MArio, Metroid, Smash, Mariokart, Kirby, etc, so I just cannot go without that. That is and will forever be a given with Nintendo.

So that left me with a choice. LAst gen it was pertinent to get both because both Xbox and PS3 had great exclusives and both were fighting so hard to get exclusive deals and options, so both were pretty even until about 2011 or 2012 when PS3 pulled ahead in sales and exclusives. At that point, it was clear Xbox was ready to move on, but PS3 is still getting games two years later.

This gen, however, all the stars pointed towards a PS4. Since a vast majority of games are gonna be on both systems, you want to have them on the system that will (or should) play them most efficiently. PS4 is the stronger console with marginally better architecture. So that gives it the multiplat vote. Plus, Sony has been reeling in ALL the indie developers and letting their users download and redownload games across multiple platforms (lots of cross gen and cross system buying and compatibility) ensuring that the PS4 will have an absolutely massive library of indie and retail titles.

Plus, I prefer the likes of PS exclusives to Shootery boom boom vroom vroom Xbox exclusives. Never been a fan of halo or forza, which is like 1/3 of their exclusives right there. I DO like Gears of war, and DON'T like God of war, though. I'd love to trade those exclusives.

I was actually playing it again last night on PS4 (for me!) and a few days ago for my GF on 360 (she seemed to enjoy it, saying "You don't have to stop." when I felt like she was getting bored.  I love that game so much.
