So you're telling me brand approval drops exactly after something bad happened to it?

Thank god for research companies.

Well bad stuff happens to Sony all the time. Like every quarter they announce higher than expected losses but stuff like that doesn't affect their brand value.

Maybe because mainstream consumers don't give a shit about financial statements.
But put the word "hack" and a company together and suddenly people don't like it.

Consumer perception of the media giant the lowest in six years.

I don't think they should care a lot given the PS4 sales numbers.

Why wouldn't they care? Playstation is a small division for Sony. They make so much other stuff.

It's been low for several years, but good luck telling a PS fan that it affects them (which tbh it doesn't).

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

They actually spend quite a lot on marketing. Like the FIFA sponsorship deal cost close to $300m and every year they spend more then half a billion on advertising.

I think they stopped doing that (fifa sponsorshop deal) to cut costs.

I saw a commercial for The interview a couple days ago, but also here in Canada theaters are unwilling to show the movie. Ofcourse Sony gets the blame.

Is he pissed another false flag operation is not working out lol.

So by theatres refusing to screen the movie, basically all the money Sony put into funding this movie has like no chance of being reimbursed?

Looks like someones gonna have a bad quarterly statement.......

i'm beginning to wonder if this wasn't done by the nsa to turn public perception against north korea even more and pave the way to a conflict

north korea has already gone on record stating that they had nothing to do with this
