I'd love a game full of puzzles like that.

wonder where one could find such a game

Too funny. :P

Just so you know, I've been planning to buy this game since before it came out.  I just haven't been able to yet.

Z&W is more like lots of little self contained puzzles covering serveral screens. The great games like Space Quest series were more wide open to explore, puzzle peices often spread over different areas, sometimes giving less obvious direction of where to go.  Use to have to do part point-n-click and part type in commands before they went all point-n-click, and prior to that it was all text based adventures with just text commands, like "open mailbox" and "read letter".

I prefered the openess of the other great  puzzle/adventures.

Ugh, those sound harsh. I think there's a reason they faded away.

There is a reason. First Person Shooters came along and gaming went casual. Stupid casual gamers ruining it for the rest of us!

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

it's not just random guessing at what the developers want you to do

the actions you have to perform are logical and make sense...and they give you visual clues that you can use to logically deduce the answer...

the best puzzles are going to always make complete logical sense once u know the answer, but be difficult to figure out until then...they will have good, subtle clues to give you what you need to figure out the answer

now, every puzzle in z&w may not be great...and there may be some not-so-good ones in it, but that's why it's simply a good puzzle game and not a great puzzle game

Bets:Missed by 420k I bet leo-j vg$500 that wii will sell 31 million by 7/31/08.  Sorry, I don't think he has enough vg$ to make it with all of u that wish you could. Hit, with room to spare I bet kingofwale a 1-week ban that wii Americas ltd sales>360 Americas ltd sales as of the numbers for week ending 7/05/08 (using vgchartz homepage #s)

Predictions:

Wii will sell 18-20mil by 12/31/07  CHECKWii will sell 45mil+ WW by 12/31/08Wii will surpass PS2 sales WW by 11/17/11 (5yr anniversary)Wii Fit will hit 12mil sales in 2009MKWii+SSBB+Wii Fit+SMG > 50 mil sales by 2010 > gta4+mgs+gt5+ff13+haze+lbp

Hum...perhaps you are right, that I just don't like the genre. That could be. I just didn't have fun with it. If I die I just want to retry whatever it was I was doing. Oh well. Could someone compare Zack and Wiki to some other great puzzle/adventures?

Try the Resident Evils before RE4! Very tough puzzles.
