Since Obama is so against terrorism and threat why don't he invade korea and pakistan which have failed to comply with anti-nuclear protocols??? Owwwww I know why, he is a chicken against any country that can retaliate. Russia bully him and disrespect ONU but he stays silent.

Shut up Obozo.

Or because he doesn't want people to die in a war he'd have started.

Just maybe

But he is against Sony removing the movie to avoid loss of civils?

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Wow, I actually agree with something Obama said.

Thank you, President Obama, for having some backbone on this issue. Kazi Hirai's, and by extension Sony's, cowardice is shameful.

"We cannot have a society in which some dictator someplace can start imposing censorship here in the United States," Obama said. "If somebody's able to intimidate folks out of releasing a satirical movie, imagine what they start doing when they see a documentary they don't like, or news reports they don't like. Or even worse, imagine if producers and distributors and others start engaging in self-censorship because they don't want to offend the sensibilities of someone whose sensibilities probably need to be offended."

But you can have a society where some rich powerful iditos can dictate what people are allowed to do or not?
Okay...

And about the documentary they dont like or news repots they dont like. Well YOU usually go and threaten people so they stop doing it and instead release stuff that was approved by you.

Whether Sony officially cancelled it or not, it wouldn't have mattered considering all major theatres already decided against showing it.

This.  But, I understand the theathers making the decision they did for safety concerns.

Its less safety concerns and more image.

They probably dont care if some random guys die. What they care for is if the public starts to HATE them because they ignored the threat which would result in bad publicity and less profit.

So, Obama has balls for telling Sony they don't when Sony would get all the blame if it went wrong, but US troops are still fighting for petrol instead of attacking to big bad North Korea over the same moral standards ?

That's too american for me

Sony is in a lose lose situation. If they went ahead and something did happen, people would blame them saying they had ample warning if something happening.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

I'm buying a One because Sony gives in to terrorists.

Sony's in a lose-lose situation here. Also, like others have already said, most theaters already made the decision for Sony by deciding not to screen it.

I'm sure the US is more than capable of handling national security.

To be honest though the blame is more on the movie theaters than on Sony.

You know you are making contradictions right?

Sony removed it from the theaters, possibly because they wanted to avoid being blamed about any life lost in a possible attempt... in this case avoiding loss of human lives (civilian) you overlook. And Obozo criticizes Sony.

I ask about why Obozo don't hold the same speech on his own things, because he don't attack the countries that menace the peace in the world a lot more than some terrorists, but could retaliate USA in stronger way than some sparse terrorist bombing, and USA can war in their countries and destroy them with unrivalled strenght... and even complain about the hundred of soldiers lost against the several thousand of lifes taken by them.... in this case the death of soldiers (which should be prepared to it) you uphold. And Obozo mutes on it...

How do you explain that?

Also wasn't I supposed to ignore you? Or is that only valid when I want to answer a point you made, but you can answer?
