It has better music than ALBW copy paste soundtracks.

...

Copy paste. Right.

Show some respect for the musicianship at work. It's one thing to not like the new arrangements of old tunes, but it's a different thing entirely to act like it takes little effort or tact to arrange them in the way that was done in ALBW. The soundtrack in ORAS was copy paste. The soundtrack in ALBW was not. That's not an opinion, and saying that is a harsh insult to the musical process. Do you even realize how difficult it is to make a derivative, yet still unique sounding piece of music?

It's more difficult to create new tunes.

Where did you get that information, because that is 100% false. In many cases, its harder to create covers, and in all other cases, it's at least just as difficult.

Have you ever arranged anything? Don't underestimate the complexity of writing music.

All I need to know it's that one has already a score done and the other not. Sounding better or not than the original is not as amazing as hearing completely new tracks.

See?? That shows that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. That is not true at all. They are two completely different scores. He didn't just take the old score and update the instraments. He had to write an entirely new score with completely new arrangements though out. The score in ALBW is original. It was made from scratch. He had to rewrite everything. Just because it's made to sound like something else doesn't mean that it is.

Ever heard of harmonic, melodic, or reductive analysis? The results of those show the only true similarities in like pieces. They have similar skeletons, and even that is a stretch with some pieces.

I thought there was an interview somewhere where Kondo said he'd be doing some pieces. Musta been fake or something. Man, really looking forward to his music. The guys from Skyward Sword were good. As long as the music is good, I don't care.

I mean, I'm sure he'll write something for it, but it will mostly not be him.
