Ultimately I'll take whatever 3D Mario I can get. My favourite one is definitely Galaxy 2, so yeah, Galaxy 3 would be a treat for me, but if it's something else I don't mind. There is only one series providing quality games in this genre so I can't afford to be picky!

Not entirely sure, but I would think probably bigger and more open with more traversal of space?  That could be cool.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

super mario 3D galaxy seems a great idea.
the best of galaxys and the best of 3d world in a single game
i imagine lots of double cherries, and every copy is affected for a diferent gravity source, would be funny.

but i wonder what they would do with the pointer. obligatory wiimote gameplay? is not very good to do it with gamepad, cos you cant walk and jump while touching the screen.

I was thinking Universe would be more open in terms of level design like 64 and Sunshine (plus the name Universe just goes well with Wii U). Galaxy would be more confined like Galaxy 2. Both have the same theme for the most part though. Unless Nintendo found a way to change it somehow, lol.

you are not alone on that haha. I actually liked 3D World alot more than either Galaxies and waaaay more than sunshine

Hopefully NOT another Sunshine or Galaxy experience.

Let's get back to basics. Give us a full 3D Mario (3D World is nice, good game, fun, but enough with floating micro-levels thing). Give us a full, unadulterated romp in the Mushroom Kingdom, in 3D, in HD, for once. We've never gotten it. We've gotten magic paintings, an island, and space/tiny planetoids. Let's get a full blown massive Mushroom Kingdom, in all of it's magical wackiness, going on. THAT is the 3D Mario I want to play next.

No gimmicks, no new "theme", just Mario, Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser, cool powers (old and new), and a LOT of classic Mario gameplay.
