Forums - Sony - Sony gave away $1,349.29 worth of software on PS+ in NA in 2015

A digital download costs 2 cents or so.

So they gave away 674.645 game downloads?

I dont get how you can say you got something and how something you dont even own can somehow be added to a number that then shows the value you received.
I mean I cant even keep it.

If my friends lend me their games nothing gets more valuable at all.

Its like me buying every single game that exists from amazon playing it and then returning it to amazon. So by that logic I got 1 billion value for free.

What's the point of keeping things anyway when one day you will die, you won't be able to carry stuff to your coffin, urn, whatever?

It's amazing how people always find something to overlook when it's something positive about PS.

Selfish much? I can give my collection to my son, nephew, girlfriend, buddy, orphanage or videogame museum etc etc.  I can make someone happy. ;)

btw you can put your video game collection into your grave.  Pharaohs took gold and shit with them when they died.

software programms itself, all these devs are just actors, the truth is finally out

FYI. What you said has nothing to do with what I say

lol, yes it does, you quite literally said that digital and temporal goods have about no value at all, because they can be copied easily/ you don't keep something forever

but they do, because the people who create the stuff have to be able to make a living or we would get far less of that and probably far lower quality

And still no DC :P

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Pure cost doesn't represent value though. That could easily have been just a large amount of poor games (I think it has been recently actually).

Like what? Most of the games given away have been good to great!

The One and Only

VizionEck.com

The problem is they are giving nothing, you stop paying you lose the games. That's renting ;)

I'd rather have free online.

Let me know how many rentals you get elsewhere for $50 total on the year, with many of those rentals lasting 6+ months if you quit renting after the 1st year.
